Latest Update

RFM 10202 has been returned from Arriva Trains Wales to Cargo-D following the introduction to traffic of 10259. 10249 now becomes the spare vehicle for the Holyhead - Cardiff service. The vehicle is now at LNWR Crewe where minor repairs are due to be carried out before it moves to Barrow Hill.

This is part of an intended swap round of RFM vehicles - 10242 will move to Willesden and 10246 will move to Barrow Hill to support it. 10242 will be supported by 10222 from DB Regio at Willesden.

The 5 MkII vehicles operating on the DBS contract for FGW changed over seamlessly to operate between Bristol and Paignton in December 2009. The 4 MkII vehicles sent to Millerhill to operate with DBS on the Fife Circle contract in December 2009 have also bedded into their new contract.

In terms of the MkII fleet, 5941 will move from Barrow Hill to Long Marston for further storage. It will now not be considered as part of current fleet.

Cargo-D has also now officially purchased the remaining MkII vehicles it had been negotiating to buy. The fleet list can be found elsewhere on the website.
