WSMR start crew training

WSMR has begun crew and staff training in preparation for introduction of it's new service from Wrexham to London Marylebone. The trains will be formed of high quality refurbished MkIII rolling stock. These vehicles are currently being refurbished and will enter service with WSMR in the spring.

The trains will operate from Wrexham via Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Tame Bridge Parkway and Banbury to London. The operation provides a link again between Shrewsbury and London with an outstanding service - 5 weekday trains.

To facilitate the training, RBC has provided rolling stock to WSMR. Two sets will operate, one from the London area and one from Crewe.
